The president of DTE Inc., Mr. Dave Holmstrom, began marketing and supporting AutoCAD and related software packages in 1984. In 1987, he authored and successfully marketed the first Autolisp Civil Engineering package for use with AutoCAD. As one of many software offerings, he became an Archibus business partner in 1988. In 1991, Mr. Holmstrom, placed 4th out of 800,000+ in the National AutoCAD TopGun competition

In 1994, we narrowed our focus exclusively to the Archibus / FM suite of software, and partnered with a local systems furniture supplier to integrate Archibus into furniture design and specification. Since that time, we have expanded our operations by partnering with Hartman Consulting to include field verification and measurement, and providing on-site personnel for Archibus / AutoCAD data maintenance.

DTE has implemented and/or maintained Archibus data for clients throughout the Greater Cincinnati area, managing well over 20,000,000 square feet and 25,000 fixed assets. This has enabled our clients to plan more effectively for employee churn, locate and control vacancies, track departmental changes, manage on-demand and PM work orders, and distribute facilities processes over their corporate intranet.
